Dr. Jeff Williams, ROI Corporation’s Associate for Atlantic Canada gave a lively and pointed presentation to a wide cross section of the third and fourth year dental students at Dalhousie University this week. He spoke about options post-DDS (including the pursuit of post graduate studies, associateships, internships, practice purchases and set-up). As a former Dal student himself (DDS '86), Jeff shared his exuberance of sitting in the same lecture theatre some 20 years earlier, anticipating his entrance to the profession. The story of how his successful and varied 10 year practicing career came to end as a result of a disabling injury resonated deeply with those in attendance. |
